In conjunction with Dream Big Darling advisory board member (and editor-in-chief of SOMM Journal and The Tasting Panel) Meridith May, Fresh Voices is a journalistic platform in which selected Dreamers are invited to share their written perspective on a theme of their choice and in their voice. Articles are published in the Somm Journal and in The Tasting Panel Magazine, and on the Dreambigdarling.org site.
From the importance of inclusivity in company culture to finding your inner confidence, the Fresh Voices columns reflect the unique perspectives of our community and offer insight into the future of our industry.
“Fresh Voices is impactful because it gives the next generation a voice and a powerful platform to talk about perspectives in the industry that might otherwise go unnoticed,” says Amanda Wittstrom-Higgins, program co-founder and founder of Dream Big Darling.
“With Fresh Voices, we have had the good fortune to publish creative thoughts and ideas beyond our magazines’ conventional scope,” adds Meridith. “Our only prompt to these talented women is to remind them of our readership: we are 100% beverage-industry driven. From there, the authors of this column are free to express themselves as they wish, allowing novel perspectives on a range of valuable themes.”
